Welcome to the 2nd Workshop on AI & Systems Security, Organisational Protection, Interaction and Cybersecurity Skills (ASPIS 2026)
18 – 20 September, Thessaloniki, Greece
The workshop on AI & Systems Security, Organisational Protection, Interaction and Cybersecurity Skills (ASPIS) was established to focus on cybersecurity challenges in critical sectors, including regulation, software security, and critical infrastructure protection.
ASPIS 2026, in its second edition, is expanding to address emerging needs and is organised upon five complementary thematic pillars, as follows: AI Security encompasses both the cybersecurity of artificial intelligence systems and the application of AI to cybersecurity; Systems Security focuses on the secure design, implementation, and operation of cloud-, fog-, edge-based systems, and software; Organisational Protection addresses cybersecurity from governance and resilience perspectives, encompassing critical infrastructure protection, cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance, as well as cybersecurity certification frameworks and methodologies; Interaction focuses on human factors in cybersecurity, highlighting their role in the design, deployment, and operation of secure cyber systems; Finally, Cybersecurity Skills supports the workforce development through competency frameworks and credentialing approaches that promote cybersecurity knowledge, skills, and professional competencies.
We welcome submissions that cover a wide range of topics related to these pillars, including but not limited to:
- Cybersecurity of AI
- AI for cybersecurity
- Network, cloud, fog, and edge security
- OT/ICS security
- Software security
- Critical infrastructure protection
- Cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance
- Cybersecurity certification
- Human factors in cybersecurity
- Cybersecurity workforce development
- Competency frameworks and credentialing in cybersecurity
Submissions will be evaluated based on their originality, significance, technical soundness, and relevance to the workshop’s topics. Accepted papers will be included in the IEEE SEEDA-CECNSM 2026 conference proceedings. For the submission guidelines, please visit here.
